Cruise to the Agrirama in Tifton. For this joint event the Tifton car club organized a cookout lunch ($5/person) and joint car show with ours and other clubs, all at the Georgia Agrirama. Our cars were displayed while we toured this interesting “living museum” and learned how life was in Georgia years ago! Check the Agrirama out at http://www.agrirama.com/main/ Bob Dubiel was event coordinator for our club.
We had 10 Corvettes and one grocery car do the Agrirama trip and had a great time. The Tift Area Auto Club greeted us and provided a delicious hamburger plate. A few even went back for a second burger! They gave us a nice welcome and had two door prizes. Jean Baker won $20 cash and Karen Wallace won a neat boxed Corvette pocket knife. We saw a working saw mill, an iron worker and got to ride the 1907 Train and have an ice cream cone in an old general store. And many marveled at the beautifully restored 1896 home on site.
