Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 27, 28, and 29 – Work weekend at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY.
While there, we enjoyed meeting and socializing with the Original Corvette Club of St. Louis.
Having driven most of the day, the evening of our arrival we needed real food.

WhaBah! fills the bill.

First you select your dinner from the meat case.

You can grill your own meat or let the pros do it.
Wonder why the only watchers are from our club?

Others either just had salad and baked potato or waited for dinner to arrive.

Saturday morning breakfast at the motel included waffles.

Corvettes from Georgia and St. Louis coexisting peacefully on the parking lot.

We arrived at the museum ready for work.
This is Fred with his newest Corvette.

Al checking tires for adequate tread.

Karen and Linda arranging shirts into a neat display.

Mike and Lydia arranging jackets.

Charlie, Helen, Jerry, Lydia, and Gwen each arranging ... something.

Bert in the jacket department, combining shopping with arranging.

John, the Ultra Pro driver.

Jerry and Mike cleaning cars in the rotunda.

Mike polishing the last car.

After working, we eat (what else?)

Wendell K. Strode, Executive Director of the Museum fills us in.

We went to Chaney's Dairy Barn
for ice cream
in mid-afternoon.

Two-cone Al admires John's Banana Split with two-scoop John in the background.
A few hours later, we dined at Rafferty's but apparently were too busy eating to take pictures.

A stop on the way home.
This page depicts eating in restaurants by professionals.
Do not try this at home.
Drive and eat — it's what we do best!
